Overview: The implants have been placed and restored...now how do we maintain them? In this course we will reveal new protocols for more predictable periodontal therapy via saliva testing, provide solutions to long-term implant success with maintenance protocols, discuss how mechanical homecare makes a meaningful impact on results and prevention of peri-implant complications, and help attendees understand best practices for targeted clean to prevent peri-implant and prosthetic failures

Dr. Sam Shamardi earned his DMD at Tufts University and his Periodontal certificate at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Surgery and practices full-time while teaching part-time at the Harvard Division of Periodontics. 

 

Dr. Shamardi lectures nationally and internationally in topics within periodontics and hearing loss in dentistry and has published multiple articles.  He is recognized as a dental entrepreneur for his revolutionary EarAid product and published The Financial Survival Guide for Dentists, geared towards helping early career dental professionals establish a foundation in the business aspect of their careers.
