Overview: Whitening involves not only bleaching, but also restorative treatment. In this presentation, participants will learn about bleaching procedures and restorative procedures to help patients to achieve their desired smile. Participants will learn about techniques for external and internal bleaching. They will learn about the foundational science behind bleaching - both in-office and at-home. Finally, participants will learn about restorative techniques, such as using opaquer, to help mask a discolored tooth

3. Learn about how whitening differs from bleaching

4. Learn about the intricacies of internal bleaching

5. Discover restorative treatment options to manage discolor

Melissa Seibert, DMD, MS holds a dual faculty appointment as the deputy program director for one of the Air Force\'s post graduate AEGDs and as a clinical instructor at Creighton dental school. Dr. Seibert has multiple peer-reviewed publications and lectures to national and international audiences. She is the creator and host of the #1 clinical dental podcast, Dental Digest.
