Course Description: This one-hour live presentation introduces dental auxiliaries to common removable prosthodontic procedures, terminology, coding for improved patient communication.  Each participant should gain insight regarding professional growth opportunities associated with treating this often-overlooked population of patients. 
Learning Objectives:
- be able to use Current Dental Terminology and Coding for common removable prosthodontic procedures
- be able to describe each of the five clinical appointments required for traditional complete denture prosthesis

-be able to explain risks and benefits associated with metal framework vs flexible partial dentures

Nels Ewoldsen, DDS

Nels Ewoldsen earned his DDS (1978) and MSD (Dental Materials & Prosthodontics, 1994) from Indiana University.  He owns and operates a private dental practice and removable prosthodontic laboratory in rural Indiana.  He enjoys teaching and putting his product development background to practical use.  Dr. Ewoldsen has served as GC America's Director of New Technologies and as Clinical Research Director, Dentsply Prosthetics.  Dr. Ewoldsen continues to serve as a consultant to the dental industry focusing on simplified techniques and improved access to care.  He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists.
