The transformation of the pediatric patient’s dentition and oral structures through the primary, mixed and early permanent dentition may result in various problematic presentations. Identification and timely intervention will assure not only the child’s developmental well-being but may also minimize future treatment costs. Specific treatment recommendations for eruption disturbances and space maintenance are included with this program. You will derive enhanced diagnostic and treatment skills for your youngest patients.
· Discuss identification and intervention for ectopic eruption of maxillary permanent canines and first permanent molars
