Course Overview
We can all appreciate ways to break the chain of infection during viral outbreaks - even during a typical cold and flu season - but are we doing enough on a day-to-day basis to ensure that we prevent infection in our practices? Infection control errors in dental settings are a continuing concern, especially since a lapse in dental infection control can have a life-threatening result. This dental infection control CE course will discuss the current infection control regulations and recommendations for dental settings. A major theme in this presentation will be to discuss the "why" as well as the "what" of dental infection control practices.
