With a black belt in orthodontics and a game-changing conversion rate, Tracy has mastered the art of providing the highest level of patient care while creating a rhythm the team can dance to.
Growing up in ortho over the past 15 years, in offices ranging from start-ups to multi-practice/multi-doctor, Tracy has developed a method for increasing case acceptance, improving office efficiency, and introducing standout marketing strategies.
Passionate about the business of orthodontics, and having held every position in a practice, she is a firm believer in the team behind the doc. Much of her focus is spent working with docs, office managers, treatment coordinators, patient coordinators, and clinical assistants to boost the “New Patient Experience” and enhance the practice’s mark in the community.
As the Founder of Straight Consulting (formerly Straight Wire Consulting), Tracy’s mission is to put a millennial twist on traditional practice consulting and lead the development of next-generation orthodontic teams.
Alisha Holbert, Private Practice Consultant
Like Tracy, Alisha “grew up” in dentistry and orthodontics. From her first job out of high school as a dental assistant for a general dentist, to business manager at a cosmetic dentist, to finally landing in ortho where she wore every hat from scheduling, to insurance, to treatment coordinator—Alisha has seen it all.
Once in ortho, her ability to develop systems and processes contributed directly to flourishing practice. As a TC, she also learned firsthand what works and what doesn’t in a modern ortho office!
Now, Alisha brings all the insights gained as a world-class sales leader, combined with a natural gift for fostering thriving patient-team communities to her work at Straight Consulting. Her direct “no-nonsense” approach, informed by a wealth of industry experience, is perfectly suited to help practices of all shapes and sizes adapt and thrive in today’s fast-changing world.
Eric Sorkow, Large Practice Consultant
Eric is a seasoned orthodontic consultant specializing in optimizing existing large practices and OSOs, as well as setting up startups for scalability and success. With over a decade of experience, holding every auxiliary role in an orthodontic practice, he’s recognized for his strategic insights into practice management and growth strategies.
After heading up orthodontic operations at a NYC-based dental startup, Eric transitioned to consultancy, leveraging his expertise to transform practices seeking strategic growth. His focus on streamlining operations, implementing innovative workflows, and creatively integrating technology has led to significant improvements in his clients’ efficiency and profitability.
As a member of the Straight Consulting team, Eric leverages his diverse experience to inspire orthodontists and their teams to embrace innovation in their practices.
