Overview

This self-directed course is the second in a series that have been developed for self-directed learning about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This module focuses on screening for ASD and how to make referrals for children who may present with a concern for autism.  Topics include a general overview of child development, specific screening tools for ASD, the importance of early screening and referral and resources for referring families of children with a concern for autism.
