OVERVIEW: 

Obstructive sleep apnea, a condition which affects millions of people of all ages, is often the result of dentofacial developmental deficiencies—putting dentistry on the front line of treating this condition.

The Airway Summit is an innovative course series designed to help dentists and their staff begin to connect the dots and to ultimately recognize their essential role.

 

The Airway Summit is designed to provide clinical insights and information to help dentists begin the process of integrating sleep therapies into their practice. During this five-hour series of courses, you and your staff will achieve a basic knowledge of the clinical realities facing individuals who suffer from dentofacial developmental deficiencies. Lectures will introduce the key differences between treating the symptoms and addressing the underlying cause. You will gain insight into downstream health concerns experienced by many patients suffering from OSA, including cardiovascular problems, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, snoring chronic allergies, restless sleep, daytime drowsiness – and you will learn how a dentist can affect these common conditions.

The Airway Summit is a holistic approach to root-cause treatment that addresses the effects of a compromised airway on overall patient health and well-being.

 

Vivos mRNA (Mandibular Repositioning Nightime Appliance): FDA CLEARED as a Class 2 appliance; cleared for the treatment of adult patients diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea, snoring and sleep disordered breathing.

Vivos DNA (Daytime Nightime Appliance): FDA REGISTERED as a Class 1 appliance for palatal expansion 

Vivos Guide Series (VStarter, VGrow, VWay): FDA REGISTERED as Class 1 appliances for teeth straightening
