ELECTIVE TMJ and Pain part 2 Nov. 19th-20th 2021

Overview

This course is intended to build upon the Introduction to TMD course given in SEPTEMBER 2020. The purpose of this course will be to help a clinician become more confident and competent in screening, diagnosing, and treating simple to complex cases of craniofacial (TMD) pain/dysfunction patients. You will also be introduced to how integration of the Vivos System works with this patient population and be exposed to various patient cases with sleep breathing disorder and craniofacial pain/dysfunction. Physical medicine and physical therapy in-office modalities found to be effective in treating this patient population will be discussed and demonstrated including an effective in-office treatment for migraines and much more.

NOTE: It will be important that those who are registered attended the previous course as a prerequisite, otherwise they may slow the course down for those who previously attended.

Vivos mRNA (Mandibular Repositioning Nightime Appliance): FDA CLEARED as a Class 2 appliance; cleared for the treatment of adult patients diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea, snoring and sleep disordered breathing.

Vivos DNA (Daytime Nightime Appliance): FDA REGISTERED as a Class 1 appliance for palatal expansion
