We all know how important it is to educate our patients and keep them well informed on current trends and dental procedures. But unfortunately, education does not always happen overnight. In this course, Carol Jent, RDH, will cover two very different topics which both require a clear understanding for treatment acceptance. First, she will discuss dental sealants and share ideas on how you and your team can communicate and plant the seeds of acceptance when sealants are recommended.  Secondly, she will talk about the importance of discussing whitening as a treatment and not just a cosmetic procedure by reviewing the science, patient and product selection, and sharing examples from some of her most challenging cases. With patience, we can educate our patients with our knowledge to appreciate, understand, and accept the importance of these two treatments while seeing the role they play in overall health and well-being.
