Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to provide dental hygienists information about vaping to help them in clinical practice. Among high school students, vaping has increase by 78% over the last year with 20% of all high schoolers reporting vaping within the past month. Dental hygienists that attend this course will learn the difference between various vaping products, as well as understand the systemic and oral implications of vaping. Dental hygienists will learn ways to approach the discussion of vaping with patients and resources to help patients with tobacco cessation.
