01:00 PM - 05:00 PM CT | Achieving Successful Crown and Bridge Restorations Using Zirconia Oxide | 4.00
Overview: Predictable and stress free results can be easily attained in
fixed prosthodontics procedures if the practitioner has an understanding of
dental material properties and how they relate to the clinical technique. While
the introduction of new materials and equipment has simplified the restorative
process, achieving a successful result is still very dependent upon clinical
technique. This presentation will cover various crown and bridge procedures
including provisionalization, and impressioning. Emphasis will be placed zirconia restorations
with respect to material types, esthetic design options, and
cementation/bonding. A discussion on
implant restorations will be covered.

12:30 PM - 03:30 PM CT | Simplified Implants - single tooth implant from diagnosis to maintenance | 3.00
Overview: Dr. Natelli will walk you through how to diagnose, treatment plan (including surgical guide fabrication) and place and restore the single and predictable dental implant. Learning Objectives: 1) How to diagnose the implant you want to do 2) How to treatment plan this and place the implant 3) How to impress and restore this 4) What complications and or pitfalls to avoid Speaker: Albert Natelli, Jr, DDS Dr.
Natelli started restoring dental implants in dental school. In his
fellowship he learned how to create analogic surgical guides to aid in the
diagnosis and treatment planning for the dental implant and well as the
preforming the surgery. After being in private practice with surgeons not
using his guides he ventured out in the world of placement. He uses a
surgical guide for every case and then restores them as well. He is a
graduate of Miami University (Ohio), The Case Western Reserve University School
of Dental Medicine and did his residency at St Josephs Hospital and Medical
center in Patterson New Jersey. Upon completing his residency he did a
fellow ship with Drs. Allen Itkin and Barry Zweig (two oral surgeons who had a
hospital based practice and taught at the old University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey). Currently he is the most senior faculty member
at the UConn School of Dental Medicine AEGD program where he has been teaching
dentistry and implant dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Natelli is
knowledgeable in several implant systems and takes his residents for the last
several years to a cadaver course in New Jersey; he is passionate about implant
dentistry and teaching it to others.
