Course Overview

The goal of this course is for you, as a mandated reporter in Pennsylvania to gain an understanding of your duty to recognize and report suspected child abuse as outlined in the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law (CPSL).

Course Objectives

•    Understand your mandated roles and responsibilities as outlined in the CPSL.

•    Recognize the categories and indicators of child abuse and neglect.

•    Understand the mandated reporting procedures for suspected child abuse.

•    Identify ways you can help ensure the safety of children in Pennsylvania as a Healthcare Professional

**This course has been approved by the PA Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of State (DOS) and fulfills the Act 31 requirements for all PA Licensed Professionals.
