Colin A. Lathrop  DDS

Dr. Colin A. Lathrop  graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2009, with honors, after completion of a research fellowship at the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research.  Unlike most of us, Dr. Lathrop’s Dental Career began at the age of 14! Working in his Step-Father’s Practice,  he literally grown up in a dental office. Dr. Lathrop has worked in every office position from Janitor to Doctor.  This, combined with his drive to create a systemized approach to everything that he does, has granted Dr. Lathrop a unique, and powerful perspective on the workings of a dental practice which he shares with the hundreds of dentists that he is currently mentoring.

Dr. Lathrop realized early on that if he wanted to achieve true success in dentistry, he had to seek mentorship and specialized knowledge.  His journey to clinical excellence began with foundational teaching by Danny Melker DDS MS and Bill Strupp DDS FAACD.  Dr. Lahtrop continued to build his skill set and knowledge base through Arrowhead Labs FMR training, Kerstein, Spears, Sutter and Pankey to name just a few.

Today, Colin enjoys distilling this knowledge in his CE courses. Fueled by his drive for excellence and systemization and tempered by 10 years of chairside experience, Dr. Lathrop has refined and modernized many of the techniques that he learned from the masters.  His passion for Dentistry and for teaching Dentists make Colin Lathrop’s Continuing Education Continuum a one of a kind learning experience.

Christopher "Doc" Hoffpauir  DDS

Master of Ceremonies and Digital Scanning

Life began for Christopher Hoffpauir in Lafayette, Louisiana. Poor experiences at the dentist led him to a path of dental phobia. In 2002, a severe dental infection changed his life. Seeing first hand what a difference proper dental care can make in someone’s life, Chris decided to go back to school in pursuit of a degree in dentistry. Returning to school at 30 years of age, he was not the typical student. Years of work experience in various fields gave him a different perspective than that of most students. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Houston Clear Lake with a BS in Biology with a focus on Molecular and Cellular studies , and his DDS from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2012. In 2013, Dr. Hoffpauir opened a new start up practice in Alvin, Tx where he continues to practice today. Dr. Hoffpauir has a special interest in utilizing the latest technology to offer the best possible care to patients, with a focus on helping patients with dental phobia overcome their fears.
