Angie Michlig is the Senior Compliance Manager at Smile Brands, Inc. and has worked in the DSO space for 32 years.  She has worked in practices as a dental assistant and office manager and the past 23 years she has been part of the support team. Angie manages Smile Brands OSHA, infection control, and continuing education programs.   She works with teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to assist the dental teams in creating a culture of safety and compliance. 

Holding a certificate in Dental Infection Prevention and Control from OSAP and the DALE Foundation, Angie has presented continuing education programs on dental infection control, policy and procedure development and creating compliance in the multi-site environment. 

Angie is a member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) and the American Dental Assistants Association.  She sits on the ADAA Council on Education and Professional Development and has served on the Board of Directors of ADAA’s affiliate foundation, the Professional Dental Assistants Education Foundation.

In her free time, Angie enjoys hunting, fishing and exploring the outdoors with her husband of 38 years, Keith and spending time with family, which includes her eight grandchildren.
