Overview:

All team members (licensed or not) in the state of Illinois are mandated by law to take a one-hour sexual harassment prevention course during every three-year license renewal period. Employers are responsible for creating a work environment that is free from sexual harassment and discrimination. This program provides a road map for preventing sexual harassment, creating a respectful work environment, while meeting the sexual harassment prevention continuing education requirement for Illinois Dental License Renewal.

Course Objectives

•        Identify the employer mandated sexual harassment and prevention training requirements.
•        Define sexual harassment, abusive conduct, and other forms of harassment in the dental setting.
•        Explain employer and employee rights and responsibilities to prevent harassment from occurring.
•        Create a workplace culture that promotes respect and professionalism.

Leslie Canham (pronounced CAN-NIMM)

Leslie Canham is a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant and is Certified In Dental Infection Prevention and Control. She specializes in OSHA Compliance, Infection Control, and Dental Board regulations. As a Certified Speaking Professional, she lectures nationally and internationally. She provides in-office training, consulting, mock inspections, Webinars, and home study programs.

Leslie is sometimes called upon to investigate breaches in dental infection control and provide expert witness testimony.

 Leslie is part of The Compliance Divas, where she and her fellow Divas podcast weekly to help dental professionals simplify dental infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance.

Processing and service fees are non-refundable for any and all cancellations with no exceptions. Refunds will only be issued if requested 8 days or more prior to the event. No refunds will be given within 7 days of the event unless the event is canceled by CE Zoom, or unforeseen acts of God, in which we will try and reschedule the event prior to issuing a full refund, minus any processing fees. Please note, if this is a live-streamed event, you must have a good internet connection and refunds will not be issued due to poor connection or courses not counting for CE credit.
