How “small” Can They Go…Nano-ORMOCER® Technology and the Advancements in Preventive, Restorative and Bonding Materials
COURSE OUTLINE…
*This lecture will review and discuss the different types of Nano-hybrid, Nano-ORMOCER®, ORMOCER® technologies used in some of today’s resin-based materials.
*Adhesives, Flowables, Preventives and Universal Composites will be explored along with the clinical benefits of Nano-inclusion and ORMOCER®s.
*A focus will be on understanding the chemical interaction and construction of the materials as those qualities relate to the clinical efficacy and success of the procedures involved.
GOALS
- Educate participants briefly on the history of “Nano and ORMOCER® technologies” with an emphasis on their strengths and weakness.
- Highlight the multiple variables that need to be considered during the process of restoring teeth and preventing caries with these advanced materials.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards of the Academy of General Dentistry Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE) through the joint program provider approval of CE Zoom, LLC and VOCO. CE Zoom is approved for awarding FAGD/MAGD credit.
