Join MDHA as we welcome two dynamic and nationally/internationally recognized speakers to our Central MA Symposium. We are thrilled to have the ever provocative, multi award winning  winegienist, Katrina Sanders RDH, BSDH, M.Ed., RF, joining us again. This time Katrina will give us "The 411 on D4346: An Interactive Program on Oral Inflammation" as well as "Getting Patients to A.S.K. for Treatment: A Periodontal Case Acceptance Program."  Katrina is not afraid to ask the tough questions and works tirelessly to elevate the dental profession in her roles as author, educator, speaker and clinician.

Ryan Rutar RDH, MAM, BS, BA is a Past President of NEDHA as well as a member of AADH, ADHA, and GLMA. He has published articles in Access and RDH magazines and was on the Colgate Oral Health Advisory Board. He was a Nebraska's Dental Hygienist of the Year and has received the "Heart to Hands" award by Philips and the Changemakers in Dentistry award by OnDiem. He has served in multiple roles for ADHA and is on the RDH Editorial Advisory Board for RDH magazine. We are excited to host Ryan as he presents, "Don't Assume! Making Space for Enhancing Cultural Humility for LGBTQ+ Patients."

MDHA switched from a House of Delegates annual business meeting to a General Assembly format in 2023. A General Assembly is the highest policy-making body of the association (MDHA) and is the final authority in the management and administration of the affairs of the association. Under the new General Assembly format, all registered MDHA members present will get to vote on proposed policy changes and elect MDHA officers for 2024 - 2025. An e-mail sent to you prior to the General Assembly will list proposed policy changes and resolutions and contain all information you will need to vote. If you are registering for the Central MA Symposium you can register for the General Assembly at the same time. There is no cost to attend the General Assembly.  Attending the General Assembly is optional, not mandatory if attending the Central MA Symposium. If you only wish to attend the General Assembly, do not register here. There will be a separate registration link posted on massdha.org for those only wanting to attend the General Assembly.
